...by bus
From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport:
The most convenient way to travel to Hämeenlinna from Helsinki-Vantaa airport is to take a bus. There’s a bus connection almost every hour from the airport to Hämeenlinna at daytime. The bus drive takes approx. an hour, but please note that you have to switch to another bus 15 minutes out from the airport.
The switch of the bus takes place in a place called Keimolanportti and this procedure is really simple! Keimolanportti is actually a gas station and the bus from the airport meets another bus from Helsinki which is going to Hämeenlinna. The two busses stop directly next to each other and all the passengers from the airport will have to change to another bus. You just have to make sure that the luggage is also transferred. This is really convenient because all the passengers make the same change and the area is not a crowded bus station, but a simple gas station. Once you have arrived to Hämeenlinna, it is recommendable to take a taxi from the bus station to Hotel Rantasipi Aulanko.

There is a bus shuttle from Tampere-Pirkkala airport to Hämeenlinna from Ryanair’s flights. You will find detailed information about connections at: Airpro

. All the bus connections to and from Helsinki make a stop in Hämeenlinna. The bus stop is in front of a building called WETTERHOFF, which is close to the bus station. You may ask the driver to drop you off at the correct stop.
...by taxi
One option is to take a taxi from the airport to Hämeenlinna. A basic rule concerning the taxis is that the more there are passengers and the fuller the car is, the cheaper the price. So if there are several passengers coming at the same time, a taxi might be a competitive way to travel to Hämeenlinna.
