The overall objective of the InnoCEntre Network is to innovate regional development supporting campus entrepreneurship.
-
The first sub-objective is to find good practices from different regions, and to share and pilot them.
-
The second sub-objective is to exchange good practices and further develop them with the partner network.
-
The third sub-objective is to participate into regional policy and strategy planning in the area of innovation eco-system.
And finally, the results will be disseminated interregionally. The two content components we are suggesting are: 1) Enhancing strategies for promoting new entrepreneurial spirit, and 2) Promoting knowledge-based business, incubation, and business succession. In the content component 1 the main objective is to develop strategies of how to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit in higher education.
Firstly, success factors will be identified by examining the experiences of all partners and by investigating outstanding examples. Secondly, entrepreneurship competencies for students, entrepreneurship teachers, and entrepreneurs will be reformulated for improving entrepreneurship. Thirdly, competence-based approach will be piloted. In the content component 2 the main objective is to create new knowledge-based business and businesses by interregionally piloting existing good practices e.g. business opportunity evaluation, campus incubation and business succession school, business unit incubation, and further developing them.
