Final Report of the Expert Group "Entrepreneurship in higher education, especially within non-business studies"

Final report of the Expert Group set by the European Commission has now been published. The report deals with entrepreneurship in higher education and especially best procedures within it. Representative of the European Commission in the Expert Group is Mr Simone Baldassarri, who was one of the keynotes in the FINPIN 2008 Conference. In the report is mentioned two examples of Best Procedures from Finland. Business Succession School, which is developed by FINPIN and consultants is mentioned at page 25 and also Practice Enterprise Project from Turku University of Applied Sciences is at page 46. Here is the report as pdf file.


Finnish Delegation Participating NBIA's 22nd International Conference

Finnish delegation, director Sakari Kuvaja, four presidents and one vice-president from Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences were participating in NBIA International Conference in San Antonio, Texas, USA. This years theme was Innovation for a Strong Economy & Healthy Planet. A joint poster of FINPIN and participating UAS'es was on display at the International reception. Group also visited Trinity University in San Antonio, Rensselear Polytechnic in Albany and Stevens Insitute of Tecnology in New Jersey.

FINPIN Conference 2008 Early Bird Fee: Extension of Time

FINPIN negotiated with conferences practical organizer and as a result of this Early bird fee is valid until March 19th. So registration fee is still 550 euros. After March 19th it will be 600 euros. In other words: use this benefit and register yourself to the FINPIN Conference 2008! 

Please note, that early registration is recommended to ensure smooth accommodation booking.

The FINPIN 2008 Conference is well accepted, and abstracts are received all over the world. Thank you for all of you, who have already acted. You will get your notification in the beginning of September as promised. However, due to summer vacations and many requests, the deadline of the Call for papers and posters for FINPIN 2008 Conference is postponed until September 28th, 2007.
