Criteria and examples of good practice in university entrepreneurship support

The case study work conducted by the OECD LEED Programme so far has led to the development of a criteria list of what constitutes good practice, which was presented in Halle. The handbook seeks to provide a gateway for further exchange amongst universities and policy makers on this topic. FINPIN and Business Succession School presented at page 20.

FINPIN2010 Conference Call for proposals is over

We thank you for the interest towards FINPIN2010 Conference. We received 70 proposals all together with the first and second call of proposals. Proposals were reviewed by the Advisory Board members. We were happy to accept most proposals to the Conference, only four were rejected mainly because the title of the proposal was not suitable for our themes. Proposals were sent to us from around the world – Europe, Asia, North America, Africa from over 20 countries. For example Czech Rebublic, United Sates, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Indonesia, India, Canada, Russia etc. We congratulate all accepted proposal writers.

FINPIN2010 Conference: Call for Proposals open

Theme of the third international FINPIN conference is Innovation and Entreprenurship in Universities. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is November 15, 2009.

Please also note that names of two keynotes are now released.

The conference is organised by FINPIN and North Karelia University of Applied Sciences. ECSB is the main partner organisation of the conference.

Entrepreneurship in Higher Education in Europe

The final results of the Survey of Entrepreneurship in Higher Education in Europe have been published on the web site of the European Commission. The survey report provides a valuable contribution in better understanding strengths and weaknesses of the offer of entrepreneurship education in European HEIs.

The Good Practice examples in Annex B provide a very interesting insight into a number of institutions, how they work with entrepreneurship, and their approaches. FINPIN Finnish Entrepreneurship and Innovation Network for Higher Education is one of the 45 examples.

The Proceedings of the 2nd International FINPIN 2008 Conference Published

FINPIN’s new name in english

FINPIN board decided November 26, 2008 to update english version of FINPIN full name. Now it is FINPIN Finnish Entrepreneurship and Innovation Network for Higher Education.


Mission and Vision 2010 updated

FINPIN board updated FINPIN’s mission and vision.


 

Proceedings of the 2nd international FINPIN Conference

The proceedings in this volume bring together a great selection of papers presented in the 2nd conference, illustrating the many different viewpoints that need to be considered when discussing the broad area of entrepreneurship within the higher education sector.
